The live streamed reading: Culture, Love, and Identity: An Afro-Latina Reading.

After producing the Afro-Latina Writer’s Retreat and the reading you see above, I’m taking it to the next level.

Along with writer/editor/educator Cody T. Luff, we are editing an Afro-Latino Anthology.

The yet to be named anthology will be a contempary collection of up and coming Afro-Latino writers who not only honor their identity in their art but also embrace it, adding to the tapestry of American letters even if they aren’t recognized for it.

We’ll be asking for submissions soon enough, however, we’re still in the planning stages. Among the stages is to curate an amazing list of possible writers for this anthology.

That’s where you come in! If you’re an Afro-Latino/a writer, please fill out this form and tell us about yourself. When we are ready to ask for submissions, we’ll be email the writers of this list first. You’ll also be kept up to date with where we are in the process.

The anthology will be the second edition of Soul’s Road.
