So those that know me well or for a long time know that I started out as a poet. Spoken word mostly. Use to perform in every city I moved to and sometimes  I still dabble.

Since this is a writing blog and I still adore the art form, posting some of my favorites from Def Poetry Jam.  This is what happens when art belongs to everyone. It’s a gift.
