Dear Reader,

I just had another poem published. “In the Aftermath” is a found poem using Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s comments from the press conference after the Santa Fe shooting.

I, like many others, was upset after the events from Santa Fe. I wanted to create something and remember a workshop I took about creating a found poem. That’s when I thought the governor’s comment would make a good poem.

So, what’s also interesting about the publication is that Poetry 24 is published in the United Kingdom. It’s my first international publication so that’s something.
